Jes MaHarry garners her inspiration for her unique handcrafted jewelry designs from her heritage, having grown up in a family rich in the arts, and from her love of nature.
From a young age, Jes collected objects she found in the fields and forests of upstate New York where she used to ride her horse. Bringing these finds home, she would then craft them into bracelets, necklaces and earrings. Stones, feathers, rusty bottle caps and old washers comprised these girlhood creations. She developed her artistic talent while attending Columbus College of Art and Design and later learned silver-smithing.
Today Jes’ jewelry is known and collected worldwide and her trademark rough hewn hearts and other silver designs of stars, flowers, and horses along with antique glass beads, trade beads, and semi precious stones are indeed artful treasures the distinguishing buyer will want to acquire.
